698 – TOUR / SECURITY GUIDELINES

These are the minimum tour guidelines set forth by COMSUBGRU9
.
*Must be US citizen to tour the boat.  Must show proof of citizenship, the only acceptable forms are an enhanced driver’s license, a passport or a birth certificate (copy ok).  Military ID is not proof of citizenship.

*Must be capable of navigating ladders and water tight doors.  No crutches, canes, casts.  Pregnant women are not allowed.  Guests are not authorized to remain on the pier during the tour time.

*May not bring weapons, cell phones, cameras, smart watches or other electronic devices.  Bluetooth hearing aids are allowed.

*Must have approved SECNAV 5512 or Military ID to access base.  Those with approved SECNAV 5512 forms will be placed on a list at the base gate.

*All guests will be placed on a separate access list for the pier and boat.  List must be generated by requesting organization and forwarded to COMSUBGRU NINE, list must identify who has submitted SECNAV 5512 or those with military ID.

*SECNAV 5512 lists should be submitted 10 workdays prior to the event, if it is a small group, generally less than five and pass and ID is not busy, we can get them approved in less time.

*When guests submit SECNAV 5512 forms, they must identify which group/event/date they are attending.**

*Minors must be aged 11 or older.
